Shanghai – 5/21

This morning we had a beautiful visit to Tiger Hill. My favorite part was the Temple of the Great Buddha. I observed local Chinese people actually praying in this Temple which made the whole experience more authentic. Afterwards we went to Abbott to visit their factory. Although it wasn’t my favorite corporate visit, I still had a few takeaways from the visit. First, the importance they put on cleanliness was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before (full body protection). This proves their commitment to providing a safe product. Also, I realized that quality test engineers have a tedious but important job of conducting the same tests batch after batch to ensure safety. Lastly, I ended the night on the roof of our hotel admiring the breathtaking view of Shanghai. Can’t wait to explore!
