Reflection 6

As the final class period before the trip my reflections on it were all very optimistic. It really helped to motivate me to take care of all the little things related to the trip which I had put off doing until now such as picking up Chinese Yuan from the bank. In this class we also got to hear from some people from Class XXIII about their experience which was great for getting a better grip of expectations when it comes to a lot of the activities that people will be participating outside of the T&M schedule. One really useful bit of information that I learned from this session was to put a lot more effort into my clothing when going out in China than I might on campus, specifically long pants are a must. In addition to this it was great to get a bit more input about how much money to bring with me to China for spending money. All in all this final class really helped to cement my excitement for the trip even as finals loom on the horizon.
