Reflection 3

During this week we started to do our research into our topics for presentation. This was a really fun experience for me given reading the news and being opinionated are two of my favorite pass times. The topic I chose to focus on was the trade war. This was of particular interest to me given our trip to China is simulated business trip and the trade war with China has been the biggest story in business for this past year. I am really interested to see what that looks like during the trip not only from the perspective of american companies trying to do business in both countries, but also from the perspective of a domestic, Chinese company. In addition to this, doing this research was really great for me as a chance to learn more about the “unfair” trade policies which I see lambasted almost weekly in WSJ opinion columns.
