Class 3 Reflection – Topics

This week we were given a chance to research topics that we would present to the class. The group that I am in was going to be responsible for the pop culture side of China. To me this topic is particularly interesting, as I mentioned before I am fascinated by the fact that this country has gone through such a radical modernization, which means that its culture has shifted radically as well. In addition, seeing so many tourists come from China to my city, I always felt like people from there get to know Russian pop culture, while I myself was always left in the dark about theirs, as I was a mere observer of the tourists, which are never a great representation of the country.
