My primary way of being I am focusing on is being open to new experiences, as in the past I have mostly stayed in my comfort zone when visiting most foreign countries, and am looking to create for myself a more culturally immersive experience this trip. This includes being more open to Chinese food, which I normally am not the biggest fan of partially due to its lacking vegetarian offerings.
My secondary way of being is that I would like to improve the rigor of my sleep schedule as it is something I have struggled with for a long time, and I would like to use the incentive of all I would like to experience on this trip as reason to sleep well and wake up with the time to do things. I am looking to do this by maintaining a focused sleep schedule that allows me to best enjoy my time during the trip, as well as making use of my boon of being able to sleep easily in various moving vehicles like planes and buses.
The tertiary way of being I am focusing on is coping well with whichever issues I may encounter on the trip as a result of being vegetarian. I am looking to plan well and be prepared for whatever may arise. I mentioned it before as a fear of mine that I will struggle to find food, and while I am now more confident that the program will ensure there is at least some option for me at each provided meal, I am less confident about the meals I will need to seek out myself. I have prepared by looking into various nutrition bars to carry during the trip and eat, since I am honestly still doubtful I will particularly like what vegetarian alternatives the program is able to secure me due to Chinese cuisine just never really supporting vegetarianism quite as well as other cuisines have.
