Reflection 3

Today we began with an activity where we identified three ways of being for the trip. I quite enjoyed this, as it gave me a good opportunity to reflect on what I was hoping to get out of the trip, besides the socializing that is. We also were introduced to the meat of the class, with group assignments that are intended to help us better prepare for and learn about travel to China. These groups will present in the following weeks in order to broaden the whole group’s knowledge before the trip. Finally we met our additional chaperone, Ulyssia Dennis. I always enjoy Ulyssia, and I am glad that we will be accompanied by someone who is both upbeat and responsible.
