About an hour and 30 minutes ago, I was standing at the intersection where the 2 line would have connected with the 7 line for the Shanghai metro system. Tonight was Emily's birthday and I was hoping to catch up with group tonight to celebrate. However, they caught the last 7 train and I didn't … Continue reading Shanghai Day 1: Downtown Shanghai and a Happy Accident
Tiger Hill and ABBOTT!
Today was another great day! We started at Tiger Hill, which reminded me a lot of the leaning tower of Piza. My biggest complaint is that is was crooked-- somebody should fix that. We then went to Abbott which was an especially interesting trip for me because I am interested in full time work with … Continue reading Tiger Hill and ABBOTT!
Day 8 – Suzhou
Today we visited Tiger Hill in the morning. It was a very beautiful attraction and I took a lot of good pictures there. I was surprised to find out that I could use my face to purchase bottled water in the vendor machine. The technology in China is really growing rapidly. In the afternoon, we … Continue reading Day 8 – Suzhou

5/21: Abbott
Tiger hill was beautiful. The body of the emperor is under the temple but when archaeologists uncovered the temple, it started leaning. I learned that they decided to stop excavating so the building wouldn't be ruined. I thought this was an interesting act. We also visited Abbott. I was amazed at how clean the facility … Continue reading 5/21: Abbott
Day 8
We started off our day touring around Tiger Hill in Suzhou. I would say "garden" is the best way to describe this site. There was beautiful landscape and buildings, and of course the leaning pagoda. I really enjoyed seeing the historic site and it's beautiful features. In the afternoon, we went to Abbott for a … Continue reading Day 8
Industry 5.21.19
We visited yet another beautiful location, Tiger Hill in Suzhou. I had fun with friends trekking up the hill and taking photos at the top. Sadly I had the wrong setting on my camera, so they didn't turn out as good as I had hoped! In the afternoon, we had probably one of my favorite … Continue reading Industry 5.21.19
